Thesis

The middle-market gap. Owners selling to operators, not to funds.

The capital pillar is being built deliberately. The thesis is straightforward: there is a generational transfer of profitable owner-managed businesses underway across the UK and Iberia, and many do not fit the mandate of conventional private equity.

GTEN intends to acquire and hold. No fund structure, no LPs, no five-year clock. The horizon is the founder's working life.

Initial criteria: profitable, owner-managed, £1m–£10m EBITDA, sectors GTEN can credibly steward — technology services, specialist distribution, regulated trades.

Capital will deploy alongside Alsvior's sector intelligence and the founder's operating background. First transactions are not expected before 2027.

Mandate

What we will and won't do.

C.01AcquireProfitable SMEs, £1m–£10m EBITDA, owner-managed succession scenarios.
C.02HoldIndefinite hold. No fund clock. No forced sale.
C.03Co-investSelective minority positions alongside aligned operators.
C.04AvoidPre-revenue ventures. Distressed turnarounds. Anything we cannot steward operationally.
